The Keystone Agricultural Producers (KAP) board of administrators has introduced a new general manager.
Brenna Mahoney will be a part of the group efficient June 14, 2021. Mahoney has expertise with nationwide coalitions and partnerships centered on advancing grain vitamin, wholesome farm practices, market entry, public belief, and sustainability.
“I am very pleased to welcome Brenna to our organization,” says Invoice Campbell, president of KAP. “She brings with her a wealth of agricultural and communications experience that will build on the strong foundation we have at KAP.”
Earlier than becoming a member of KAP, Mahoney was director of communications and stakeholder relations for Cereals Canada. She was additionally a steering committee member for the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Crops (CRSC) and supported the event of CRSC’s code of apply.
Mahoney can also be a board member for the Canadian Agricultural Corridor of Fame and Farmers Overseas Canada. She was previously the chair of the Wholesome Grains Institute.
“I am excited to work for Manitoba’s agricultural producers,” says Mahoney. “Agriculture is a key economic driver and there are many opportunities for sustained growth through collaboration across the sector.”
