Manitoba Harvest forms research partnership for development of hemp and pea varieties


Manitoba Harvest is partnering with a consortium of trade leaders by way of Protein Industries Canada (PIC) to develop new hemp and pea varieties with elevated protein content material, differential starch content material, and improved texture.

Manitoba Harvest will lend its experience in meals innovation, product development, and formulation, to enhance the efficiency and performance of hemp and pea protein, making hemp proteins appropriate for a wider vary of meals functions, in response to a launch.
